Gulfstream G150: Specs, Range, Price, Interior, Cockpit. The Gulfstream G150 is a wide cabin variation of an effective G100 business jet. The aircraft was created by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, based in Savannah, Georgia, and Israel Aircraft Industries (IAI). The launch of the first aircraft in January 2005. The aircraft was flown to the Gulfstream production facility in Dallas for completion and began operations in August 2006, with Gulfstream as a company demonstrator. G150 replaces G100, which stopped production in January 2006. In October 2008, 49 aircraft operated.
Type certification due to the Israeli Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) was received in November 2005, followed by validations from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Ukraine State Aviation Administration (June 2011), Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (July 2011) and Chinese Civil Aviation Administration (August 2011).
In October 2008, Gulfstream launched its decision to install an automatic throttle system (ATS) on G150 aircraft. This system is installed in the final phase of the integration or manufacture of aircraft. G150 received certification of steep approaches from the FAA and the European Aviation Security Agency (EASA) in February 2010.
In June 2010, the FAA gave permission to install a wide area augmentation system (WAAS) on the aircraft. WAAS is a navigation system including satellites and earth stations that improve the accuracy of GPS receivers.
Gulfstream G150 Engine
Gulfstream G150 is each rated at 19.6 kN. The engine was installed with poles on each side of the rear of the fuselage. Engine air intake has a thermal anti-icing system. The aircraft lugs a maximum fuel load of 4,581 kg in the tank in the inner and outer wings and in the upper and lower tanks in the center fuselage. The electrical system has two Lucas Aerospace engines that are driven by a 300A 30VDC starter generator and two 24 hour nickel batteries.
Gulfstream G150 has a long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.75 (895km/ h), flies four passengers without stopping up to 5,467 km (3,397 miles), equivalent to New York non-stop to Los Angeles, London to Moscow, or Rio de Janeiro to Santiago. The aircraft can reach speeds of up to 1,015 km/ h (Mach 0.85) and altitudes up to 13,716 m (45,000 feet).

Gulfstream G150 Cabin and Interior
Gulfstream G150 has a cabin with a maximum width of 1.45 m and a height of 1.70 m, wider and taller than the G100 and provides stand-up headroom, wide legroom and wide hallway space in configuration options for up to eight passengers.
The interior-designed cabin is based on the selection of operator skin, upholstery, wood coating and floor coverings. The cabin is also equipped with a Honeywell environmental control system and is pressed to 0.61 bar differential using bleed engine air.
Gulfstream G150 Cockpit and Avionics
Gulfstream G150 is equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line21 incorporated avionics. The flight deck accommodates two crew members and is equipped with the Rockwell Collins EFD-4077 electronic flight information system that provides data to four 18.4 cm display screens.
The UNS-1C dual flight management system has an incorporated global positioning system and Rockwell Collins FCC-4005 autopilot. The navigation system includes a dual AHC-85E stance and canopy reference system, ADC-850C air data system, VIR-432 navigation marker, DME-442 distance measuring equipment, ADF-462 automatic single direction finder, ALT-55B radio altimeter, and avoidance system TCAS-94 field impact, Honeywell EGPWS proximity warning system and TWR-850 color weather radar.
The communication circuit includes VHF-422C cockpit radio, RTU-4220 tuner and TDR-94D transponder, Baker B12135 audio device, Magnastar flight telephone, Rockwell Collins HF 9000 radio, Motorola NA-1335 Selective selective call unit, Artex ELT transponder locator emergency locator and the Universal CVR-30B cockpit voice recorder.
In July 2009, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorized making use of the second generation Gulfstream Enhanced Vision System (EVS II) on the G150. EVS II will be available for new and in-service G150 aircraft.
Gulfstream G150 Price and Orders
The price of the newest Gulfstream G150 is around US $ 16 Million. In April 2010, the G150 aircraft made its early bird at London City Airport, after being authorized to land and leave at the airport. Asia Jet ordered three aircraft, namely G150, G250 and G200 in October 2010, with shipments being brought out by the end of 2012.
