The cabin is covered with leather with specially stitched accents and comfortable chairs made from Alcantara.
Cirrus SR20 Engine and Performance
The Cirrus SR20 aircraft is powered by a Continental Lycoming IO-390-C3B6 piston engine. The engine has six cylinders fueled by an adjustable exhaust system. The engine produces 215 hp of power to drive the three-bladed Hartzell propeller.
Cirrus SR20 aircraft can fly at speeds up to 155 KTAS (287 km/ h) with 75% power. The kiosk speed of the aircraft is a calibrated air speed of 60 KCAS (104 km/ h) with a flap. While still in the air, it can go up to a distance of 785 nm with a 55% power reserve. The aircraft requires a 260 m landing ground and 450 m takeoff distance. The aircraft can operate up to a ceiling of 17,500 ft (5,334 m) and has a climbing rate of 3.97 m/ sec.

Cirrus SR20 Specs
The Cirrus SR20 airframe has a low-wing monoplane design. The aircraft landing system consists of a tricycle type non-retractable landing equipment wheel. Overall the dimensions of the Cirrus SR20 feature a length of 7.92 m, a height of 2.71 m, and a wingspan of 11.68 m. This aircraft is designed to carry a maximum gross weight of 1,386 kg and has a standard empty weight of 945 kg, a useful load of 441 kg, usable fuel capacity of 56 gal/ 336 lb (212 l/ 153 kg) and a full fuel load of 288 kg.
The Cirrus SR20 aircraft consists of a ballistic parachute system and four-point seat belts with built-in air bags for pilots and co-pilots. The parachute system, known as the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), is a 17 m motorized rocket parachute designed by BRS. The parachute may be activated by pulling its overhead handle in an emergency to lower the entire plane safely to land.
Cirrus SR20 Cockpit and Avionics
At existing, the Cirrus SR20 cockpit is fully integrated with the digital avionics suite known as the Garmin Cirrus Perspective. This avionics suite features keyboard controllers, 12 in dual screens (PFD and MFD), dual communication/ navigation/ WAAS GPS, engine and fuel monitoring system, flite graphics, S-tech 55 X autopilot, S-transponder mode, 406MHz ELT, GFC 700 autopilot/ dual AHRS, EVS perspective and chart display.
Other avionics features on the Cirrus SR20 feature weather information in flight and traffic information such as TCAS. All critical weather information consisting of next-generation radars, METAR, TAF, AIRMET (airmen’s meteorological information), SIGMET (significant meteorological information), TFR (terrain tracking radar), high winds, freezing and lightning levels are provided through XM weather links data. Stormscope WX-500 enables detection of every type of lightning consisting of ground-based strikes and cloud-to-cloud strikes.
This aircraft is also equipped with synthetic vision technology that provides a three-dimensional appearance from the outside. Any terrain warnings, obstacles, traffic, flight path markers, zero pitch lines, runways, airport signs, and “highway guidance” or lane guidance may be easily identified through the use of synthetic vision technology.
