Cirrus SR20 Specs, Price, Engine, Cockpit, and Photos. Cirrus SR20 is a light-weight piston-engined passenger aircraft manufactured by Cirrus Design Corporation (CDC), United States. This aircraft may be used for personal, corporate and pilot training. The Cirrus SR20 aircraft was certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October 1998 and became the first of its kind to receive a European Aviation Agency (EASA) certificate in June 2004. At current more than 6,000 SR20 aircraft have been operating in a variety of services.

Cirrus SR20 aircraft are available in three SR20S, SR20GS and SR20GTS models. SR20S and SR20GS come in a single exterior color, a white base color. SR20GTS comes in three exterior colors, namely white, dark red, and iridium. VarianS has a total weight of 2,093 lb, while the GS and GTS versions weigh 2,144 lb and 2,167 lb respectively. Strip packages for SR20S and SR20GS are “Matador” and “Red Dusk” respectively while the interior is made of slate cloth for both variants. The strip package for the SR20GTS variant is “Garnet” and the interior is made of slate leather.

The SR20GS and SR20GTS variants could be customized for X edition. X Edition features premium exterior and interior, featuring adjustable interiors. In a typical SR20 X edition, the instrument panel and center console are coated with carbon fiber and aluminum which are machined.
