Dassault Falcon 6X: Price, Range, Interior, Cockpit, Specs. Dassault Falcon 6X is the most current aircraft in the Falcon family of business jets developed by Dassault Aviation. The business jet model was released in February 2018. The aircraft will replace the Falcon 5X aircraft program, which was canceled in December 2017. Dassault Falcon 6X’s first flight is expected to occur in 2021, while shipments are scheduled to begin in 2022.

Dassault Aviation contracted UTC Aerospace Systems to provide a sophisticated nacelle system for Dassault Falcon 6X business jets in February 2018. In February 2018, Pratt & Whitney Canada was selected to provide the PW812D engine for Dassault Falcon 6X

Dassault Falcon 6X Engine

Dassault Falcon 6X will be powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PurePower PW812D engines. Each engine will produce a maximum thrust of up to 14,000 lb when operating under ISA + 20ºC conditions. The power plant will increase the efficiency, operability and reliability of multi-folding aircraft.

Business jets can reach a maximum operating speed of 685 km/ h (370k) and can fly at a maximum altitude of 15,545 m (51,000 feet). The balanced field length of the aircraft will reach 1,600 m (5,250 feet), while the maximum distance is 10,186 km (5,500 nmi).

The maximum takeoff weight and maximum landing weight of Dassault Falcon 6X are 35.135 kg (77.460 lb) and 30.025 kg (66.190 lb), respectively. This aircraft will have a maximum zero fuel weight of 20,830 kg (45,920 lb).

Dassault Falcon 6X Specs

Based on the Falcon 5X, the aircraft will integrate proven aerodynamic and system features from Falcon 5X. This will be a very sophisticated, versatile and wider jet compared to the aircraft released earlier in the Falcon series. The aircraft will feature an optimized wing structure, which will offer a greater lift/ drag ratio, resulting in better fuel efficiency and reduced turbulence.

The front-edge blades and rear edge design will allow the aircraft to take off at a lower distance and reach maximum speed in a short time. The aircraft will display a flaperon, which will be controlled by a digital flight control system (DFCS). The aircraft will have a length of 25.68 m (84.3 feet), a height of 7.47 m (24.6 feet), and a wingspan of 25.94 m (85.1 feet).

Dassault Falcon 6X Cabin and Interior

Dassault Falcon 6X business jet will feature the most spacious and contemporary cabins in the segment. The cabin will be 12.3 m (40.4 ft) long and 2.58 m (102in) wide. The maximum total volume and headroom offered by the cabin are 4.4 m ³ (1.843 ft ³) and 1.98 m( 78in), respectively.

The large cabin will feature three lounge areas and can accommodate 16 passengers. It will be equipped with 28 large windows and unique ceiling lights to allow maximum natural light into the aircraft.

A wider hallway will allow passengers to move across the cabin freely. The cabin will feature an advanced air filtration system, which will drain fresh air every two to three minutes.

Dassault Falcon 6X business jet will also feature an integrated cabin system, which allows residents to control electronic devices using a mobile application. This application will be available for iPhone devices and will be used to control lighting, sound levels and other cabin management systems.

Dassault Falcon 6X Cockpit and Avionic

Dassault Falcon 6X aircraft will be equipped with an integrated EASy III cockpit avionics system and the best fly-by-wire system in its class. The avionics suite will include a combined FalconEye vision system, an electronic flight bag solution, and a digital flight control system (DFCS).

The crew’s situational awareness will be improved with a joint vision system, while FalconSphere II’s electronic flight bag solution will support the crew ashore and during flights. Other avionics systems will include a wide screen, head-up display, and a 3D color weather radar system.
