ONE Light Sport Aircraft Specs, Price, Engine, Cockpit, and Photos. ONE is a safe, affordable and efficient light sport aircraft (LSA) designed and developed by ONE Pro, Slovenia. This aircraft can be used by flight instruction schools, couples, pilots and retired pilots. It underwent horizontal and static tests respectively in November 2012 and January 2013, and was exhibited at the AERO trade convention held in Europe in April 2015. The sport-family configuration of the aircraft is currently as being certified for CS-VLA (3-4 seat) with the European Aviation Security Agency (EASA). It was also certified for the US LSA configuration in 2016.

ONE Light Sport Aircraft Engine and Performance

The ONE aircraft is powered by a Rotax 912ULS2 engine that can produce an output power of 100 hp. It has a fuel capacity of 135 l/ 97 kg and is equipped with an intelligent engine management system. The aircraft can fly with a maximum cruising speed of 256 km/ hour and stall speed with flaps of 65 km/ hour. The aircraft’s take-off and landing distance is 120 m and 350 m. The empty weight and gross weight of ONE aircraft are 340 kg and 600kg, respectively. The aircraft has a useful carrying capacity of up to 260 kg. The standard blank weight in the 2 + 1 configuration is 350 kg, while the gross weight and carrying capacity of useful loads are 750 kg and 395 kg, respectively.

The ONE aircraft has a smart design provided by Max Piucci. Overall aircraft dimensions include length of 6.97 m, height of 2.2 m and wingspan of 9.65 m. This aircraft has two spars, which overlap and bolt together to the fuselage. It is available with two and 2 + 1 seating configurations, and includes an airplane parachute and a 3D passenger roll safety cage compartment. Airplane doors are designed to be opened just in case of a roll-over. The aircraft’s three-wheel landing gear is equipped with an aerodynamic cover that integrates with the front legs.

The interior of the aircraft was designed with Max Piucci and MBVision. Adequate luggage space is provided.

The FEM-designed and tested cab has car-style collision resistance. The cabin also features a full Kevlar interior that provides protection from object penetration. This includes switches grouped with clearly recognizable positions, glove compartments for storing POHs, additional cameras or charts, and iPad installation.

ONE Light Sport Aircraft Cockpit and Avionics

The ONE aircraft cockpit has the SkyView Dynon avionics suite integrated with the Garmin radio communication system. This includes an instrument panel similar to a car dashboard, where the panel pulls back in the unlikely event of a collision. Avionics includes standard center-sticks and side-sticks.

This aircraft is integrated with an easy entrance and emergency exit. The aircraft is equipped with a 4 mm certified windshield which provides protection against birds and other objects. Three hinges are provided on each moving surface, and four on the wings.
