AVIC Xian MA60: Price, Specs, Performance, & Cockpit. AVIC MA60 is a twin turboprop engine passenger aircraft created by AVIC Commercial Aircraft Co., a subsidiary of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). The aircraft is used for short and domestic air corridor, and is designed for transportation of passengers and goods, maritime patrols, medical evacuations, and operations to bring down paratroopers.

The inaugural flight of the MA60 aircraft was accomplished in February 2000. The MA60 aircraft received certification from the Chinese Civil Aviation Administration (CAAC) in June 2000 and began operating with Sichuan Airlines in August 2000. The MA60 aircraft is furnished with a Pro Line 21 avionics suite supplied by Rockwell Collins.
