REMOS GXiS Specs, Price, Interior, Cockpit, & Photos. REMOS GXiS is a new two-seat light sport aircraft made by REMOS, Germany. This aircraft was introduced at the AERO Friedrichshafen which was held in Germany in April 2016. The first prototype was worked on April 7, 2016 and completed the first flight test in May 2016. The aircraft was designed to obtain light sport aircraft certification (LSA) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA ). It is also available in an ultralight version which is marketed in Europe. In addition the aircraft are also marketed in the North American region through an exclusive distributor, Skybound Aviation.

The REMOS GXiS aircraft is powered by a Rotax 912iS sport engine with electronic fuel injection that generates power of 74 kW (100 hp). The engine drives a three-bladed MT-Propeller propeller. The propeller is available in a version of speed and constant speed. The ultralight version is equipped with a fixed three-blades propeller developed by NEUFORM.

REMOS GXiS aircraft may be boasted with a cruise speed of 189 km/ h, kiosk speed of 77 km/ h, normal operating speed of 198 km/ h, maneuver speed of 174 km/ h, and a fast forward of 220 km/ h. The aircraft has a maximum range of 975 km (526 nm) and endurance of 6.5 hours.

The REMOS GXiS cockpit can accommodate two personnel being made up of a pilot and a passenger. The 1.19 m wide cockpit is equipped with the Dynon SkyView SE avionics suite. The avionics suite includes a 10-inch touch screen combined with an electronic flight instrument system (EFIS), an engine monitoring system (EMS) and a Dynon SV-D1000T/ B display system.

The transponder put up in the cockpit sends an ADS-B signal to show the surrounding traffic on EFIS. The center stack includes the Garmin GTN 750, a complete navigation system and control panel for radios, audio panels, and transponders. The aircraft is equipped with the TRX-1500 collision avoidance system developed by Air Avionics, and the GXiS ballistic parachute made by BRS.
