Nextant G90XT: Price, Specs, interior, and Details. Nextant G90XT is the first turboprop aircraft on the planet to become repaired with a single lever power and electronic engine control system, shown by Nextant Aerospace at the Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) held in Orlando, USA, in November 2016.

Nextant G90XT obtained primary certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in November 2015. The final type of certification for electronic engine and vane control systems (EEPC) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and FAA is expected to become obtained by the end of 2016 after completion conduct flight tests four times for a total of about ten flight hours.

Nextant G90XT is powered by a GE H75 turboprop engine, which produces 550shp power and can operate at higher temperature levels and pressures. The engine provides a 10% increase in specific fuel consumption (SFC) and reaches an additional 23kt speed compared to existing aircraft as a result of its core thermodynamic potential. The aircraft’s maximum fuel capacity is 1,167 kg (2,573 lb) and during overhauls (TBO) is 4,000 hours.

This aircraft has a maximum cruise speed of 280kt and a variety of 2,379.82 km (1.285 nm). The maximum ramp weight is 4,783 kg (10,560 lb) and takeoff weight is 4,756 kg (10,500 lb). It has a maximum payload capacity of 972kg (2.143 lb) and a certified ceiling of 9,144 m (30.00 feet).

Nextant G90XT aircraft is reproduced based on the Beechcraft King Air C90A fuselage. It was built and assembled at the Nextant facility located in Cleveland, Ohio. The aircraft’s external dimensions include lengths of 10.82 m (35 feet 6 inches), maximum tail height of 4.34 m (14 feet 11 inches) and wingspan of 16.36 m (53 feet 3 inches).

These aircraft can be configured for various operations including executive or VIP, mixed passengers, cargo utilities, and air ambulance missions.

Nextant G90XT Cockpit and Avionics

Nextant G90XT is outfitted with a Regent flight deck that is integrated with the Garmin G1000 avionics and flight instrument systems. The instrument panel has three large landscape-oriented liquid crystal displays including two main flight screens and one large multi-function screen. It has a digitally controlled pressurisation system that is connected directly to the flight management system (FMS).

The cockpit is geared up with a new aircraft avionics system including new electronic engine control (EEC), full automatic start capability, and direct interface, which can help reduce pilot workload. The EEC allows power control of single engine levers and propellers. Avionics also includes the Garmin GFC700 autopilot and synthetic sight, and the Raisbeck wing and rear pole.

Optional avionics systems include the Gogo Business Aviation Access air-to-land telecommunications system and a traffic collision avoidance (TCAS) system.

The Nextant G90XT cabin can accommodate approximately seven or eight passengers and has a total volume of 6.65 m ³( 235ft ³ ). The cabin dimensions include a length of 3.84 m (12ft 7in), a height of 1.47 m (4ft 10in) and a width of 1.42 m (4ft 8in). It has a luggage area of 1.4 m ³( 48.3 ft ³ )and can carry a maximum weight of 159kg (350lb).

The cabin is furnished with a steam cycle cooling system with an installation evaporator. The noise level in the cabin is less than 9.5 dB.
